This is unique instrument which combines accuracy with speed. In the normal laboratory practice, Phosphorous in ferrous and non-ferrous metals is analyzed by precipitating as Ammonium Phospho-Molybdate. This precipitation and subsequent filtration process consumes lot of time and manpower.
The 'EEI' Rapid Phosphorous Determinator offers an instrumental analysis of Phosphorous in all kinds of ferrous and non-ferrous metals eliminating the conventional and time consuming method.
The equipment consists of two units.
a) Rapid Precipitator Unit

Rapid Precipitator Unit In this unit the solution from which Ammonium Phospho-Molybdate is to precipitated is subjected to an alternating current electrolysis. The heat and the kinetic energy generated accelerate the formation of Ammonium Phospho-Molybdate nuclei resulting in total and instant precipitation. The temperature rise is monitored and a built in solid state thermostat circuitry cuts off automatically when the solution attains optimum temperature for precipitation. The entire process takes only 30 seconds. |

Direct Reading Centrifuge The Rapid Phosphorous determinators we manufacture are used for determining steels, alloy steels and non-ferrous metals. It takes 10 minutes to analyze and offers accuracy of 0.0025%P. This is an exclusive instrument that merges accuracy with speed in the regular laboratory practice. Phosphorous in ferrous and non-ferrous metals is analyzed by coming down as ammonium Phospho-Molybdate. The precipitation and the following filtration process devour lot of time and manpower.

The process of electrolysis is used in rapid precipitator unit, which takes around 30 seconds for completion. The efficiency of this process is evident from the fact that it provides ideal and accurate percentage of phosphorous content in the sample. |
